Hyun-mi Kim Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach San Francisco, California 2019–21 Protect the legal rights of indigenous children, parents, and tribes afforded under the California Indian Child Welfare Act through community outreach, direct representation, and collaboration with tribal lawyers and community organizations led by indigenous advocates in the Bay Area. Renee Schenkman Lawyers for Children New York, New York 2020–22 Provide legal representation and advocate to address the needs of youth in New York City’s Residential Treatment Centers and the Administration for Children’s Services Children’s Center, and enforce the new federal Family First Prevention Services Act.
