MoForever Winter 2021 | 12 New York Office F I RM UPDAT ES UNITED STATES Haima Marlier joined the firm as a partner in the Securities Litigation , Securities Enforcement , and Investigations + White-Collar Defense Groups. Haima joins MoFo from the Enforcement Division of the New York office of the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC). During her nine-year tenure, Haima served as lead trial counsel on a number of prominent enforcement litigations and investigations. She also investigated a wide array of matters, including disclosure failures related to financial results and internal controls, offering frauds, data breaches, and insider trading. In addition to her SEC trial work, Haima has extensive credentials in private civil securities and commercial litigation matters. (J.D., 2004, Boston College Law School) Mitchell Presser joined the firm as a partner in the Mergers + Acquisitions and Private Equity Investments + Buyouts Groups. Mitchell serves as co-chair of the firm’s Global Corporate Department with current co-chair Eric McCrath. Mitchell brings to the firm 30 years of experience in private equity and M&A transactions. His practice focuses on representing private equity funds and corporations in high-profile M&A transactions. He has wide-ranging transactional experience acting as both an adviser and principal across a broad range of industries, including agriculture, food, financial services, industrials, insurance, sports and entertainment, energy, and retail, among others. (J.D., 1989, Yale University) Omar Pringle joined the firm as a partner in the Mergers + Acquisitions and Private Equity Investments + Buyouts Groups. Omar brings to the firm significant experience advising strategic and private equity clients on their complex M&A transactions. His practice focuses on domestic and cross-border M&A, joint ventures, and venture capital transactions, as well as advising clients on general corporate governance.
