ALUMNI ACCOMPLISHMENTS Jon Glass was promoted to senior vice president, head of digital legal affairs at Warner Music Group, where he leads the group responsible for negotiating Warner’s global digital distribution deals. At MoFo, Jon was an associate in the San Francisco Technology Transactions Group from 2005 to 2008. Patrick Machado has been appointed to the board of directors of Arcus Biosciences, Inc. Patrick currently serves as a director of several biotechnology companies and previously was a co-founder, chief business officer, and chief financial officer of Medivation, Inc. At MoFo, Patrick was an associate in the San Francisco Corporate Group from 1988 to 1996. Scott Morgan recently assumed responsibility for Splunk Inc.’s government affairs and Splunk for Good organizations, and now serves as the company’s senior vice president, chief legal officer, global affairs, and secretary. At MoFo, Scott was an associate in the San Francisco Corporate Group from 2000 to 2004. Stephen Obenski was promoted from chief product officer to chief strategy officer at Kira Systems. At MoFo, Stephen was an associate in the San Francisco Technology Transaction Group from 2006 to 2007. Vincent D. Rougeau was named president-elect of the Association of American Law Schools. Vincent is currently the dean of Boston College Law School. At MoFo, Vincent was an associate in the Washington, D.C. Corporate Group from 1988 to 1991.
