THE MORRISON & FOERSTER FOUNDATION WE HAVE SUPPORTED U.S. CHARITIES SERVING PARTS OF ASIA SINCE SHORTLY AFTER MORRISON & FOERSTER OPENED ITS TOKYO OFFICE IN 1987. $10,000 Give2Asia for The American School in Japan Oakland, California Our donation to Give2Asia helped The American School in Japan, located in Tokyo, purchase iPads to lend to disadvantaged youth from families still displaced by the 2011 Fukushima earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear power plant damage. The school’s volunteer English language learning club was then able to resume teaching the youth English, via remote lessons, during the indefinite closure of in-person meetings due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
