3 | MoForever Winter 2020 F. Scott Fitzgerald said that it’s never too late to become who you want to be. For Mark Danis, it’s also never been too early. He’s pursued many diverse interests in life, starting with an undergraduate degree in philosophy and a brief stint as a software programmer, followed by law school in the late 1980s. Over the next 25 years, Mark was a Morrison & Foerster trial lawyer in complex litigation and regulatory matters while also leading an active pro bono practice in civil rights and other cases. In 1999, Mark took on the challenge of opening MoFo’s San Diego office and becoming its Managing Partner, altering his career’s trajectory even further and eventually leading him, in 2015, to his current role as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel at The Clorox Company.
