ALUMNI ACCOMPLISHMENTS Michelle Banks received the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession 2019 Margaret Brent Women Lawyers of Achievement Award, which celebrates female lawyers for their professional accomplishments and support of other women in the legal profession. Michelle was formerly global general counsel of The Gap, Inc. and is currently a senior adviser at BarkerGilmore. At MoFo, Michelle was an associate in the Business Group from 1990 to 1995. Matt Burns , co-founder and general counsel for Ingrooves, recently saw his company acquired by Universal Music Group, the world’s largest music company. At MoFo, Matt was an associate in the San Francisco Corporate Group from 1999 to 2001. Kimberly A. Eckhart was promoted to principal counsel and senior manager for Apple Inc.’s trademark and copyright legal group. At MoFo, Kimberly was an associate in the San Francisco Litigation Group from 1998 to 2007. Christopher Grant was promoted from product and privacy counsel to senior product and privacy counsel for LinkedIn. At MoFo, Chris was an associate in the Tokyo Corporate Group from 2012 to 2014. Helene Kim was elected to serve as trustee on the Menlo College Board and is an incoming director for the advisory board of Stanford University’s Disruptive Technology and Digital Cities Program. Helene currently serves as managing director for Lexbridge LLC. At MoFo, Helene was an associate in the San Francisco Litigation Group from 1991 to 1993.
