15 | MoForever Summer 2019 It was an exciting start to the year for MoFo with the February announcement of our new Boston office . The Boston office further extends our market-leading technology and life sciences capabilities and also expands the firm’s premier finance and corporate offerings. The initial expansion included adding a group of 23 finance attorneys from a Boston-headquartered boutique finance firm. That team, which joined our Financial Transactions Group, brought a leading commercial lending practice focused on the technology and life sciences sectors, as well as subscription lending. It included eight partners: David Ephraim, who also became the office managing partner in Boston; Charles (Chuck) Stavros; Beth Tunstall; David Givner; Joseph O’Donnell; Jonathan Jacobs (joining in New York); Alexander Rheaume; and Gregory Bilton. Ori Solomon, a leading Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) lawyer, also joined the firm’s Boston office as a partner and co-chair of our ECVC practice. Mr. Solomon primarily serves clients operating and investing in the life sciences and technology sectors located in Boston, New York, and the San Francisco Bay Area. We deepened our talent bench further in April with the addition F IRM UPDATE INTRODUCING MOFO BOSTON On May 22, over 100 clients, colleagues, and friends helped celebrate the opening of the MoFo Boston Office.
