M&A 2019 Annual Review

ON SEMICONDUCTOR Morrison & Foerster represented ON Semiconductor Corporation in its $1.1 billion all-cash acquisition of Quantenna Communications Inc., a Silicon Valley-based public company and leader in the design, development and marketing of advanced high-speed WiFi communication solutions. Following the acquisition, Quantenna will be integrated into ON Semiconductor’s Analog Solutions Group, which designs and develops analog, mixed-signal and logic application-specific integrated circuits and standard products, as well as power solutions for various end-users in the aerospace and defense, automotive, communications, computing, consumer, industrial and medical markets. We also advised ON Semiconductor in its $430 million acquisition of a fabrication facility located in East Fishkill, New York, from GlobalFoundries.
