We represent Nuveen Real Estate/ The Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America (TIAA) in the chapter 11 cases of Washington Prime Group Inc. and CBL Properties. Our client holds property-level secured mortgages, which the Debtors in each matter have respectively guaranteed. The Washington Prime Group plan went effective in October 2021 and the CBL Properties Plan went effective in November 2021.
