Business Restructuring & Insolvency 2021 Annual Review

We represent United Parcel Service, Inc. and its affiliates and subsidiaries, including Coyote Logistics, LLC, in various bankruptcy and state court insolvency proceedings throughout the country. We advise UPS on all aspects of bankruptcy and insolvency matters, including their treatment as a pre- and post-petition creditor, as well as the implications of their customers’ bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings on their business operations. 2021 was an active year - we represented UPS’s interests in connection with various chapter 11 cases, navigating complex issues in order to preserve value and, often times, continue to support customer operations in distressed situations. We also actively assisted UPS in defending against over $55 million in alleged avoidance claims and their state-law equivalents throughout the year.
